Caleb AGADA: “Prometheus was an easy choice for me”

Nigerian defender Caleb Agada commented on his move to Prometheus:

– The first question is pretty obvious: Why did you decide to choose Prometheus to continue your career?

– I talked to the coach. He’s in a relationship with the coach I competed under in Israel. They instill the same style of play and when I played in Israel it was the best year of my career. I think that was the main reason. Then I learned what kind of “Prometheus” club, what kind of organization it is, and I started to examine the situation more deeply. I asked my friends who played for Prometheus before and they all said only good things. After gathering all the information it was an easy enough choice for me.

– Afraid to agree with the Ukrainian team? Ukraine is going through tough times right now, so signing a Ukrainian team from the outside may seem a bit risky.

– Of course there is a risk. But I got assurances from the club and the coaches. They said that we will play in Riga, that there will be something new. I decided to take this chance and frankly I am very pleased so far.

– You have already joined the team in Riga. What are your first impressions when getting started?

– I am very impressed and very happy with the current situation. The coaching staff is very strong. I’m one of those players who likes to spend a lot of time in the gym, but the coaches are always with me. Really always. They help with additional shooting exercises, give advice on how to improve the game. Mantas, Sergey, our physiotherapists – in general all members of the organization are very professional. They really help me feel comfortable in the team. I am so grateful for what they did for me.
