Haris Papageorgiou explained: “Certainly the moments are not suitable for statements. The entire Greek society is shocked, as are ARIS’ family and the sports movement. An unanswered “why” hovers in Greek society after the tragic event, this criminal act. All of Greek society is waiting for justice and I hope with all my heart that nothing like this will ever happen again.“.
For his part, Stavros Schizas emphasized from his side: “We are all very saddened by this incident. These behaviors don’t fit the pitch and no team wants them. To express our condolences to the family of Alkis. That has to stop at some point. I am a father, I have a child and I cannot imagine the child’s family“.
