Polish coach: ‘My players have balls the size of watermelon’
Head coach of the Polish national team, Igor Milicic, commented on the sensational victory of the team against the Slovenian team (90:87) in the 1/4 final of the European Championship and paid his respects to his wards for this.
We tried to do everything to piss off the Slovenes. The more they cry, the more our players open up. Hats off to men for their flexibility. What the team has done is incredible. We always believe in victory, we are here as a family and our strength comes from the team’s confidence that we can achieve the impossible. There is no such team in Europe. The balls of our players are the size of watermelons and their hearts are the size of the moon. It was our victory, we are happy,” said Milicic.
The Poles will play with the French team in the semi-finals of EuroBasket 2022, which will be played today on September 16. The match will start at 18:15 Kyiv time in Berlin.
