Vyacheslav KRAVTSOV: “I want to play in the Spanish League”
Vyacheslav Kravtsov recently became a player of the Spanish club Menorca. The Ukrainian center has signed a season contract and will spend it in the third division of the Spanish championship.
“I have an open contract and there are several reasons why I am here. First of all, I want to play in the Spanish Liga ASV. I had options in Europe – Germany, Poland, Greece. But these are mid-level teams, I want to get to a good level. I talked to Menorca, Menorca We knew that DIA League would play a home friendly tournament against DIA League teams. I was offered to dilute the youth because we have players aged 18-24 on our team here.
That’s why I train with teenagers, and these workouts are crazy. This is the perfect place to get in shape before the new season. Young players are constantly running and I have to run with them and keep up with the pace. Also the manager factor who finished second in the World Cup this year with the Spanish U-17 team and lost to the USA team in the final. If the coach showed such a result, it means he knows something and I thought there would be something to learn from him. Yes, and I wanted to play these matches against the teams of the Spanish championship.
The manager said I left this league a long time ago and they forgot me a bit here, so I’m in Menorca to remind myself. I played two matches against Manresa and Girona. I only played a quarter and a half with the second one and as I got a hit to my knee, I couldn’t finish the second half of the game even though I started the game very confidently. And he gave a very strong game overall with Manresa, gaining 20 points. I’m in almost perfect form, I’ve played a good game, I’m waiting for an offer and I don’t plan to play a full season in Menorca. I have an open contract and I can leave whenever I want,” Kravtsov said.
