The Spanish national team defeated the French and won the European Basketball Championship for the fourth time in history

Basketball players of the Spanish national team beat the French team in the final of the European Championship.
The decisive match, held in Berlin, ended with the score 88:76 (23:14, 24:23, 19:20, 22:19). Juan Hernangomes scored 27 points for the Spaniards, while Lorenzo Brown (14 points and 11 assists) scored a double-double. Evan Fournier scored 23 points for the French national team.
The Spanish national team won the EuroBasket for the fourth time in history, having previously won in 2009, 2011 and 2015.
The bronze medals were won by the basketball players of the German national team, who defeated the team of Poland in the match for third place – 82:69 (19:14, 17:9, 18:26, 28:20).
The tournament was held in Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy and Georgia.
