Mustafa Fal on SPORT24: “I kept my word, we’re in the final”
Mustafa Fal spoke to Sportish after France’s return to the EuroBasket final and stressed that he was keeping his word as he gave it a few days ago.
After the victory over Turkey, Mustafa Fal told Sportish that France’s big goal was to win the gold medal. Five days later, Olympiacos center proved he… kept his word and celebrated a very easy (and comfortable) qualification for the EuroBasket 2022 Grand Final.
Poland proved too low a hurdle (Vincent Cole’s players basically made it look that way) and Mustafa Fale… returned to tell Sportish that there is now a thing on everyone’s lips in the blues camp.
“You see, I kept my word (laughs)‘ was the first line he said to Sportish when we stopped him in the mixed zone. He obviously remembered the rhyme that preceded it.
While he continued: “The goal was to be in the final and win the gold medal. I’m not saying we’re going to win it no matter what, we’re just going to fight to the end to make it happen. No matter who plays a lot or little, whoever is on the field will fight and toil“.
The heart of the EuroBasket beats at Sportish. Stoiximan is a mission ally in Milan and Berlin, with plenty of options and dozens of specials bets on the top basketball event.
This time, France didn’t need luck or missed opponents to qualify. Cope with everything much easier. But what is he thinking? Is France lucky or skillful?
“I don’t know to tell you the truth about the happiness you say. Luck is part of the game. Sometimes they are with you, sometimes across from you. Nobody can predict or anticipate anything. But we saw that we were better with both Turkey and Italy in extra time. We showed character and clinched two narrow wins. It’s not our job to check the behavior of other teams. We make sure we do our job right“.
Before saying goodbye, we asked him about Olympiacos, whose return has been extended by a few days due to the presence of France in the EuroBasket 2022 final.I met Nikos Lepeniotis in Berlin, we talked about what the team will be like. I would say it was a very nice friendly conversationhe said about it before admitting it “I haven’t seen the friendlies with Fenerbahce, I’m totally focused on what we do with the national team. From Monday I will take care of Olympiakos“.
