In 3×3 basketball, the national team of Ukraine won the international tournament in Hungary
Youth Ukraine national team in basketball 3×3 He participated in the international tournament held in Budapest (Hungary) on 17-18 September as part of the preparations for the World Championship.
Our team competed with Oleg Bondarenko, Vitaliy Shorstkiy and Alexander Sidoruk under the guidance of head coach Timur Arabadzhi.
The Ukrainian team started to compete at the Streetball 2022 Budapest Open, where 13 teams took part. The Ukrainians entered group B, where they confidently overcame their opponents, scoring 22 points in each match:
UKRAINE U-23 – Tresspandak (22:1)
UKRAINE U-23 – Venice Beach (22:16)
UKRAINE U-23 – Yeeehaw (22:8)
The playoffs started immediately with the semi-finals. Our men defeated the Dream Team with a score of 22:10. In the final of the tournament, the young team defeated Boráros Ballers with a score of 22:14 and won the first place in the Budapest Open tournament.
This victory provided the opportunity to take part in the Streetball 2022 Budapest Final, where our men were also undefeated and took the title of winner.

At the end of the tournament, our national team went to the training camp in Sibiu, Romania to further prepare for the World Cup.
