Vangelis Liolios met with Simon Mizrahi
Maccabi President Simon Mizrahi was at the EEC offices where he met with Vangelis Liolios and the two men exchanged views.
The presence of Maccabi in Greece for his participation in the 4th “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” tournament was the right opportunity for Vangelis Liolios and Simon Mizrahi to meet.
The EEC President welcomed the legendary President of Maccabi into his office while the two men chatted and exchanged views.
The EWG announcement details it:
“An emblematic factor in Israeli basketball with a long history of strong presence at sporting events in Europe today honored the Hellenic Basketball Federation with its presence. Simon Mizrahi visited the EEC offices on the occasion of Maccabi’s presence in Greece for pre-season games and his participation in the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” tournament.
EEC President Vangelis Liolios welcomed and spoke with him, had the opportunity to exchange views and hear first-hand stories and decisions that have shaped the course of the sport and in which Simon Mizrahi played a leading role.
Mr. Mizrahi expressed his respect for the progress of Greek basketball, also saw the showcases with the trophies and the two men confirmed the intention of a lasting and constructive cooperation.”
