Mykonos: “Our best minute, 15-year-old Panagiotis Dachtilidis’ three-pointers”
15-year-old Panagiotis Dachtylidis made his debut for the Mykonos men’s team, which showed the importance of the sport on the Cyclades island with a wonderful tweet.
The last few days have been difficult for Greek sport and not just sport. The murder of 19-year-old Alkis Kampanos has shaken the public, emotions have not subsided, but there are some little stories that help bring a smile back into our everyday lives. One of them is 15-year-old Panagiotis Dachtilidis, who made his debut in the men’s away game between Mykonos and Pera on Sunday (February 6th).
Dachtilidis landed on the floor near the end of the game, scoring 2/2 threes and experiencing apotheosis, with the team writing on their Twitter account: “Why play basketball if it’s not about short stories? At 15, young Panagiotis found himself on the men’s team for the first time, in a national category for the first time. He came on in the 39th minute and scored two straight threes. For us the team’s best minute this year“.
