Duel Ebid – DeRozan at 40 weights, Chicago conquers the Sixers
Joel Ebid and DeMar DeRozan both scored more than 40 points with the Kilo in the Bulls’ game against the Sixers, with Philadelphia eventually prevailing 119-108. Wins for Wolves, Cavaliers, Celtics and Pelicans.
Joel Ebid and DeMar DeRozan put on a show in a terrific duel – and didn’t let each other tag – both breaking the 40-point mark. But the former had more help and that was enough for the Sixers to beat Chicago 108-119 and claim a great win.
Ebid was the Sixers’ leader with 40 points and 10 rebounds – who lost 17 points (81-98) but held out in the end – with Tobias Harris adding 23 points and Tyrese Maxey adding 16 points.
For the Bulls – again missing out on Lavin, White, Bowl, Williams and Caruso – DeMar DeRozan had 45 points, Nikola Vucevic 23 points and Javode Green 17 points.

Cavaliers – Pacers 98-85

The Wolves struggled more than expected (and…should) against the Pistons, but a small breakout in the 4th period proved enough to claim victory 118-105 in a match with 17 score changes and 7 draws. This was Wolves’ 4th win.
Carl-Anthony Towns was the top scorer with 24 points and 12 rebounds, with Di’Angelo Russell adding 22 points, Malik Beasley 20 points and Anthony Edwards 17 points.
For the Pistons, Sadik Bay had 24 points, Trey Liles had 16 points, and Corey Joseph had 15 points.

The Celtics continued their upward trajectory, beating the Magic in Orlando 83-116 on the back of their defense for their 5 straight wins.
Jalen Brown was the winner’s top scorer with 26 points, followed by Dennis Schroeder with 22 points and Jason Tatum with 15 points (albeit with 6/18 shots).
At the Magic, Jalen Sags with 17 points and Wenderl Carter with 14 points were the only players on the team with double-digit points.
