The Hawks’ collaboration with Mo Harkless, who is looking for a home in Oklahoma City, lasted less than two months.

Less than two months after joining the Hawks roster and before he’s even played in at least one game with his new team, Mo Harklos changed work environment, now belonging to Oklahoma City Thunder.

GM Sam Presti was looking for an experienced forward to add to the team’s roster, and the 29-year-old (2.01) New Yorker was a case in point. In order to acquire him, he had to sacrifice the up-and-coming Czech Vit Krejci (6.2p, 3.4p, 1.9as) on the one hand and at least one draft pick (2029, second round) on the other.

Harkless went from the Kings to the Hawks in a trade last July, who desperately wanted Kevin Herter and sent him to Atlanta along with Justin Holliday. He’s a player with ten years of NBA experience and a best season of 10 points with 4.4 rebounds as a starter for the 2016-17 Blazers. Overall, he averages 6.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per 22.6 minutes of attendance in 621 regular-season games.
