Time for the first title of the season in Turkey for Fenerbahce or Anadolu Efes
In Ankara on Wednesday afternoon (September 28, 7 p.m.) Fenerbahce from Itoudis – Kalathis and Anadolu Efes will fight for the cup, which will give both confidence for the rest of the season.
Dimitris Itoudis and Nick Kalathis against Ergin Ataman and Vasilie Micic.
Tonight (September 28, 7:00 p.m., LIVE by Sportish), Ankara is hosting the 36th Presidential Cupor the Turkish Supercup, and champions Fenerbahce will take on cup winners (and European champions) Anatolou Efes, both of whom are aiming for the first trophy of the new season.
The city’s two strong teams are the most accelerated of the facility organized since 1985 but reactivated after two years due to the coronavirus pandemic. Efes has 12 wins in 23 appearances, Fenerbahce 7 in 16.
In 2019, Anadolu prevailed 79-74, but a lot has come up since then. Especially for the yellow-blue, which changed a lot in the summer. Mainly at the level of technical leadership and strategic approach as command has now passed to Dimitris Itoudis and then to Nick Kalathis.
On the other hand, Efes continues with the wily Ergin Ataman as the mastermind and a reinforced squad that has given him back-to-back European Cup victories.
The winning team will surely boost morale for the continuation of the season that is just around the corner.
