The incident between Giannoulis Larentzakis and Panathinaikos residents related to what transpired in the Super Cup final is now a thing of the past as the Olympiacos guard spoke to Argyris Pedoulakis and resolved the issue.
A misunderstanding was and belongs to the past. The reason for the small burst of tension between Giannoulis Larentzakis and the Panathinaikos bench on the occasion of the international guard’s decision to launch an attack in the final of the Supercup final was Olympiakos’ 67:52 victory.
The ‘red and white’ guard met Argyris Pedoulakis in the dressing room after the game, with the two men chatting and ending matters there, acknowledging that what had happened was simply due to the intensity of the game .
All sides are now looking ahead to the day ahead and the start of the two ‘forever’ games in European competitions as both are due to make their EuroLeague debuts at the end of the week.
