ESAKE thanks Rhodes for hosting the Super Cup
One day after the conclusion of the Super Cup 2022 by Aegean Islands, ESAKE made an announcement to thank those who have contributed to the perfect organization of this season.
The 2022 Aegean Islands Super Cup ended on the evening of Sunday October 2nd with an absolute success after the event received a very good mark and Rhodes proved that it can give a lot to the sport. A day after the end of the event, ESAKE sent a thank you letter to everyone who helped make it run smoothly.
Analytically:
“The Board of ESAKE and its President, Mr. Evangelos Galatsopoulos, thank Rhodes for the successful organization of the Super Cup 2022 in the Aegean Islands.
Rhodes, the island’s authorities and ordinary sports fans “embraced” the event, with the result that those who attended and followed it in person or on TV left the best impressions.
At the same time, with the first presence of friends and the two rivals at the grand final in a sporty and civilized atmosphere, a very important step was taken in the valorization and advancement of Greek basketball.
ESAKE feels vindicated in its decision to institutionalize the Super Cup and move this year’s event to Rhodes, particularly as the 2022 Super Cup from the Aegean Islands was a “promotion” for Greek professional basketball.
We would like to sincerely thank the South Aegean Region and Regional Governor Mr. Giorgos Hatzimarkos, Rhodes Municipality and Mayor Mr. Antonis Kambourakis, the management and staff of KAE Kolossos H Hotels, our sponsors, the Greek Police and the stadium staff of Kallithea, the ” Nestoridio Melathro” – Museum of Modern Greek Art of Rhodes and those who worked for the organization.
First of all, we would like to thank the Rhodes fans who, with their impeccable behavior, contributed to the fact that a real basketball festival took place in the Kallithea Indoor Stadium, Rhodes“.
