The Celtics dragged the… sort of like the Nets to Brooklyn
The Celtics started the match with them – without Durand, Irving, Harden – and escaped Nets 28-2(!) and finally defeated them 126-91 in Brooklyn for the six straight wins. Nine straight losses for the disappointing Nets.
shock and awe. Shock for the Nets and awe for the Celtics, to be precise, as the “Celts” smashed the New Yorkers 91-126 in Brooklyn, forcing them to their 9th straight loss while boasting 6 straight wins themselves.
Brooklyn competed without Durand, Harden and Irving. Even so, owning one is out of reach for the average person. And this has been exploited by the “hot” lately – Celtics of 6 straight wins, who got away with 0-14 and 2-28 (!) In the first period to finally achieve victory.
Jalen Brown and Marcus Smart each had 22 points for the winners, with Jason Tatum adding 9 points.
For the Nets, Javan Carter had 21 points and James Johnson and Cam Thomas each had 17 points, in a match in which the team’s top five (Mills, Brown, Edwards, Babri, Griffin) totaled 21 points.
