Olympiacos and Panathinaikos got off to a good start in A1 women’s basketball
Olympiacos and Panathinaikos started this year’s A1 Women’s Marathon with a win. Easy ace for Niki Lefkada.
Olympiacos and Panathinaikos confirmed their favorites title, which they carried in the premiere of A1 Women against Panathletikos and PAS Ioannina respectively.
The Reds and Whites struggled in the first half (find themselves at -2) but improved significantly after the break both defensively and offensively to secure a double-digit win.
The greens had a much easier afternoon as they developed a safety margin early on. The +10 at halftime was the foundation of the doubles, with Penelope Pavlopoulou posing Eleni Capoyannis’ biggest offensive threat.
