NBA: Davis found himself and the Lakers overtook the home of the Warriors 124-121
With Anthony Davis remembering his old good self, the Lakers — without LeBron — overtook the Warriors’ home stadium 124-121 in a game for the NBA’s preseason.
It was the Golden State preseason derby. The Warriors and Lakers met in a friendly, with the Los Angeles team taking the win on points 124-121, with Anthony Davis showing his best on the floor (28 points) to help his team win.
The Lakers struggled without LeBron James and Russell Westbrook on the bench, but at the Chase Center, Davis had a great game on offense with Nunn (21 points) and Ryan (20 points).
On the other hand, Steph Curry and Jordan Poole were great, the latter putting the Draymond Green incident behind by delivering a quality game with 25 points (3/9 threes and 6 assists). Curry scored one point less (24 points).
