MBK Nikolaev petitions to retain his place in the Super League
MBK “Nikolaev” officially announced that the club’s team will not participate in the next season of the Superleague-2022/2023.
In addition, the leadership of the Nikolaev club appealed to the Ukrainian Basketball Federation with a request to retain the status of the Super League participant for the team. The club plans to present its team for the start of the Ukrainian basketball championship of the 2023/2024 season.
It was previously known that Budivelnik, Kyiv-Basket, Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Cherkasy Mavpy, BIPA-Odesskaya Oblast, Old Lutsk-Universitet will take part in the Super League 2022/2023 season and “Prykarpattya-Hoverla”.
Together with MBK “Nikolaev”, next season in the Super League will be missed by “Khimik”, BC “Odessa”, “Kharkiv Sokoly”, BC “Ternopil” and “Prometheus” for various reasons.
The start of the Super League will be held on October 22. Teams will play all four rounds of the regular season without a playoff round.
