Apollon Patras: Announcement of acquisition of Bogri
The Apollon Patras player is George Bogris with the Achaia team announcing the takeover of the great Greek.
Giorgos Bogris will continue his career in Patras and Apollon, who will wear the colors of the Achaia team after moving from AEK. Bogris is expected to offer experience with the Patras racquet in this year’s Stoiximan Basket League.

KAE Oscar Apollo 1926 announces the acquisition of George Bogris (1089, 2.10 m). George Bogris was born in Thespies, Viotia and started playing basketball in the infrastructure departments of Kadmos, Thebes. At the age of 16 he moved to Ilysiakos in order to venture from there to Panathinaikos. He stayed with the “Greens” for two seasons and celebrated as many Greek championships (2010, 2011) and the Euroleague (2011).
Then he had a very brief presence in Peristeri, with whom he played in two cup games, followed by Aris, Panionios and PAOK. In August 2014, he signed a contract with Andorra at ACB with whom he averaged 8 points in 34 games. with 2.8 rebounds. In the summer of 2015 he reached an agreement with Bilbao. There he averaged 7.1 points in 34 games at ACB. with 4.8 rebounds while he had 6.8 points with 5.2 rebounds in 16 games in the Eurocup.
In 2016 he moved to the Canary Islands and in his competitions in Tenerife he won the BCL (2017) with an average of 8.8 points in 18 games. and 3.5 rebounds.
In June 2017 he returned to Greece for Olympiacos after three years in Spain and signed for Prometheus in the summer of 2019. On December 5, 2019 he returned to Spain for Tenerife with whom he won the Intercontinental Cup (2020).
This year he started the season at AEK while he is international with all national teams. It celebrated 1st place at the 2009 European U20 Championship and 2nd place at the 2007 European U18 Championship.
