NBA: German exchange office for Celtics and Rockets
From Boston to Houston Dennis Schroeder, from the Rockets back to the Celtics Daniel Thais just before the NBA transfer deadline.
They gave a German, the Celtics took a German. One German was given, one German was taken by the Rockets. A move we didn’t expect, with Dennis Schroeder moving to Houston and Daniel Thais joining the Celtics in Boston for a second term.
Schroeder and his low contract, which expires at the end of the season, has been the target of many teams, and even good teams like the Milwaukee Bucks, but the Celtics preferred him to a West Bank team to fill the role of second center behind him Robert Williams.
In addition to Schröder, Enes Kader and Bruno Fernando are going to Houston. According to Adrian Voinarovski, the Rockets could release both.
