– How important is the pre-season tournament? What tasks are set for the bears team?

– I think such a tournament is important for every team. This is the last rehearsal before the season starts. The participants are famous teams competing for Super League medals. So it will be quite interesting to test your strength in duels with them.

– The Hoverly team under your leadership is preparing hard for the season. This is a new level for many young athletes. How do you evaluate the level of preparation for the championship?

– There are many young players in the team who would be a good chance to prove themselves to participate in the Championship. In general, I am satisfied with the level of their education. They worked hard. Of course they are worried. Thus, the matches of the tournament will show how ready they are for the season both physically and mentally. I believe every one of them!

– How were you accepted by the club you worked for for a long time? Did you miss Ivano-Frankivsk?

– Many pleasant memories are associated with Ivano-Frankivsk, who worked at the club for many years. very warmly welcomed. I know club management well. It’s great that basketball continues to exist at such a difficult time for the country. And in celebration of the club’s 20th anniversary, I see our team’s participation in the elite league as symbolic.
