The biggest comeback in Maccabi’s history in EuroLeague, returning -19 against Monaco
Maccabi Tel Aviv came back from -19, beating Monaco in EuroLeague Matchday 3 and making history.
Maccabi Tel Aviv made a historic comeback on Matchday 3 of the EuroLeague, erasing a 19-point difference (40-21, 17′) built by Monaco to eventually win 78-70. And we say historical, as this is the biggest margin the Volksmannschaft has ever had in Europe’s premier inter-club competition.
In the past, the Israelis had come back twice from -18. One was against Montepaski Siena in the 2007/08 season and the other against Panathinaikos in the 2019/20 season.
