Keith Langford is expected in Athens on Saturday (2/12) to join AEK’s training sessions and make himself available to Stefanos Dedas ahead of the Greek Cup Final Four.
A personal issue to be resolved was what kept Keith Langford in the United States longer than originally estimated, but the veteran superhero is now ready to arrive in Greece on Saturday (12/2) to take part in AEK’s programme, with whom he works agreed a few weeks ago on a contract until the end of the current season.
Langford’s clearance letter remains in Greece which is why the yellow-blacks turned to him as they have 17 transfer bans from FIBA and are unable to transfer. The American will start training immediately with Stefanos Dedas’ team in a bid to gain a foothold as soon as possible and reach the semi-finals of the Greek Cup with Olympiakos (18/12) in the Heraklion Final Four.
