18 points, 11 rebounds, 1 block
The Canarian power forward made the most of his first start for the Grizzlies, being the player who stayed on the pitch the longest (39:59) and posting some of the most interesting numbers: 18 points, 11 Rebounding, one block, and decidedly cooperated. His team beat the New York Knicks in overtime (115-112).

Juancho Hernangomez (Toronto Raptors)
0 points 1 rebound 1 steal
The youngest of the Hernangomez family didn’t start their Canadian adventure in the best way. After being named MVP in the last EuroBasket final, Juancho arrived in Toronto and was ready to play a key role, but he wasn’t… at least in the first game of the season: On pitches against the Cavaliers, he didn’t even shoot baskets, only had time to catch rebounds and steal balls.

Willie Hernangomez (New Orleans Pelicans)
did not play
The oldest case in the Hernangomez saga is certainly difficult to explain. After a great summer winning gold with the Spanish team at EuroBasket and being named his MVP of the tournament, and preseason averaging 13 points per game and his 10-plus rebounds, he’s an unprecedented made its debut. Pelicans for the 2022/23 season.

Usman Galba (Houston Rockets)
did not play
The case of a man from Madrid was already expected. In fact, he already played a very small role in the Rockets ranks last season, spending much of the season with his G League team associated with him. Garuba didn’t run out on the field this morning against the Atlanta Hawks. We hope his situation improves throughout the season.
