Paul George and Nikola Jokic were the night’s bosses in the NBA
Paul George and Nikola Jokic were ebullient on offense, leading the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets to safety, respectively.
The Los Angeles Clippers put on a winning streak early in the NBA when they defeated the Sacramento Kings on the road (111-109). Might be harder than expected, but that doesn’t matter. Confront Paul George who – in Kawhi Leonard’s absence – took his… gun, scored 40 points (with 16/31 shots and 5/5 shots) and led the visitors to victory, for 2/2 at the start the regular season.
DeAaron Fox’s impressive performance (36 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists) and Keegan Murray’s full stats (19 points on 7/10 shooting, 5 rebounds) weren’t enough for Sacramento, which looks improved but still has plenty to offer has a long way to go before he can enter the postseason contenders discussion.
