With Clay Thompson reminiscent of his good old days, the Warriors overcame the hurdle of the very combative Lakers, beating them 117-115 in San Francisco to move up to 41-15 this season. The night was significant for LeBron James as he became the first goalscorer in league history with a total number of points in regular seasons and playoffs, overtaking the legendary Karim Abdul-Jabbar.
In the match, the match was very tough and contested as both teams tied in score and Clay Thompson was in a terrible situation. He finished the match with 33 points and 5/9 three points, reminiscing about his old self, while Steph Curry was also excellent with 24 points but with the poor 1/8 three points. LeBron James led the Lakers for another night, scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds while Russell Westbrook completed 19.
