To Bath! Reaction in France to the player’s transfer to the rash club
The club’s St. Petersburg-based French playmaker Thomas Ertel was suspended from playing for the country’s national team due to a transfer to the Rashist camp. This was announced by Jean-Pierre Suite, President of the French Basketball Federation.
“It’s the end of him. We can still discuss those who played in Russia before, but as for Thomas, whom we openly talked about such possibilities, no – he did not fulfill his obligation. Today I believe that he will no longer be in the French team. Done,” said Suite.
As you know, the French Basketball Federation has banned players from Russian clubs from being called up to the national team. Before the start of EuroBasket 2022, the basketball players signed a relevant document. However, Ertel went to the orcs after the tournament and signed a contract.
Earlier, Thomas Ertel had said that he didn’t care about the criticism because he passed to the Russians.
