Triumph for Flamengo who defeated Burgos in Cairo (75-62) and won the Intercontinental Cup on foot.
Shortly after Janis Tima’s comfortable dominance of the Lakeland Magic over host Zamalek, Flamengo beat Burgos 75-62 to win the Intercontinental Cup in Cairo.
The Brazilians relied on 39-year-old Carlos Olivinia in the first half, had 8/13 threes and 15 assists for four errors by half-time, drowned out the Spaniards, who failed to place their own shots (2/11 threes) , had no creation ( 4 assists for 7 errors) and were found at -16 after the first twenty minutes.
