Andrea Cincarrini, 35, became the first Italian to manage the triple-double in Serie A
An epic, historic night for Andrea Cincarini, who became the first Italian to manage a triple-double in a top-flight game of Italian basketball.
He played for Armani Milano from 2015 to 2021 but last summer Ettore Messina decided he didn’t need him anymore. Andrea Cincarini was already 35 years old, but had enough fuel in the tank. He wanted to continue playing basketball, moved to Reggio Emilia and on Sunday evening (February 13) achieved an unbelievable record in the home game against Hydra with Treviso.
The experienced guard helped his team win 67:62 and was the first Italian to score a triple-double in a game in the Italian basketball league. In 38 minutes he scored 12 points (1/4 two points, 2/8 three points, 4/6 shots), accumulated 11 rebounds and shared 10 assists, while Osvaldas Olicevicius was his team’s first scorer with 18 points and Thomas Dimsa – Michal Sokolovski is Treviso’s first goalscorer with 12 points.
