Vyacheslav KRAVTSOV: “Iceland match will be decisive”

On Friday evening, the Ukraine national basketball team will play another qualifying match for the World Championship. Team Ainars Bagatskis will play against the Netherlands team, which is in the last place in our group.

Ukraine’s central team Vyacheslav Kravtsov shared his views on the fight.

“Composition-wise, I don’t see that we’re clearly going bankrupt. Therefore, we have to play good basketball as usual. We have nothing to lose because we don’t press for results. We neither underestimate nor exaggerate the Dutch national team. We will show good basketball. Although the opponent is seen as an outsider, he is a capricious one. we have no mood – we have a plan, developments to implement.

Of course, our chances of going to the World Cup are small, not everything is up to us, but as long as we have at least 1%, we will try to use it at all costs. Nobody will give up. I think we should be in the World Cup. Let’s try to make the most of this situation.

In any case, we must take revenge on Iceland in this window. If we talk about the chance to go to the World Cup, then the Iceland match will be decisive. Therefore, with the Netherlands we enter the game more calmly and in the next match we will put our ass to the maximum, ”said Kravtsov.

The duel between the Netherlands and Ukraine will take place on Friday, November 11 in the Netherlands. The match starts at 20:00 Kyiv time. The duel will be shown by the Xsport TV channel.
