Ilya SIDOROV: “We have 100% completed the task for this window”
Player of the national basketball team of Ukraine Ilya Sidorov He shared his views on teamwork in the Netherlands (96:77) and Iceland (79:72) matches and talked about the changes in the national team.
“We only have 5 players left from the team playing in EuroBasket. But all the players without exception showed a good game and dedication. They may all be in EuroBasket, but there are only 12 places in basketball. I can’t imagine how difficult it is for coaches to make decisions like this.
As for teamwork, everything was fine because we all trained together or were on the same team for many years in the summer.
We all know the requirements and vision of the game of head coach Ainars Bagatskis. We completed the mission 100 percent for this window. While we rarely saw each other as we played in different championships, it was great to see all the players. Sidorov, thanks to all the fans for their support!”
