Zalgiris announced a sellout with Panathinaikos 16 days before the game
Zalgiris residents once again showed their love for the team in training, when the Lithuanians announced a sell-out match against Panathinaikos scheduled for December 2nd.
The love of Zalgiris fans – and Lithuanians in general – for basketball has been mentioned many times. Recent proof of this was a tweet from the Lithuanian team, showing that their fans just see basketball differently.
As the Lithuanian club announced, tickets for the match against Panathinaikos on the 11th day of the EuroLeague are sold out. The Details: The match is scheduled for December 2nd, 16 days from now!
For Zalgiris, selling out has of course been an everyday occurrence for years. Still, the news that there hasn’t been a single ticket left for a game in just over two weeks speaks volumes.
