The terrible Doncic saves the Mavericks from disaster against Clippers
The Mavericks blew a 25-point deficit against the Clippers and nearly lost a game of their own, but Luka Doncic prevailed in the end and led Dallas to a 103-101 win.
The Mavericks were just a breath away from a tie against the Clippers. Luckily for them, Luka Doncic was in the right place at the right time in the end, hitting a game-winning 3-pointer to lead Dallas to a 103-101 win.
The Mavs blew a 25-point deficit against the LA team and with just over 30 seconds left in the finals, they led 99-98 on the ball. But while they were about to lose the ball…on their own, the Slovenian appeared like a machine god, caught it before it went wide and hit a three-pointer to make it 102-98 and lead his team from safety.
Doncic led the way for the winners, finishing with 35 points and 11 rebounds, with Dorian Feeney-Smith adding 21 points and Spencer Dinwiddie adding 16 points (but 6/15 shooting).
For the Clippers, Paul George had 23 points (but 10 turnovers), Nikola Batum had 22 points on 7/7 three-pointers, and Marcus Morris had 18 points.
