Incredible kings score 153 points against disappointing nets
Lots of stuff from the Kings, who crushed the disappointing Nets in Sacramento with an incredible 153-121 on a night when the “Kings” shot 60.2% and gave 39 assists.
The Kings put on a — still — solid handcuff… sort of like a Nets team. On one crazy night, Sacramento swept the nets 153-121 and dismembered a Brooklyn that seemingly erased the word “defense” from its dictionary for one night.
The Kings did everything they wanted on offense, running away from shots in the second period and even leading by as much as 39 points in a game where they shot 60.2% from the field (56/93), 48.8 % of three (20/41) and 84% shooting (21/25) and dishing out 39 assists against a Brooklyn who looked — and was — incoherent on defense.
Trey Davis led by 31 points on 7/10 3-point shooting, Kevin Herter added 19 points and Domantas Sabonis added 17 points on a night that Sacramento had seven players who scored in double digits.
For the nets, Kevin Durant had 27 points and Edmond Sumner had 18 points.
