Maccabi: Katas top the list to replace Sfeiropoulos
Maccabi is looking for a new coach following the sacking of Giannis Sfeiropoulos, with Oded Katas the first favorite to take the technical lead, according to Israeli reports.
Giannis Sfeiropoulos is a former Bank of Maccabi Tel Aviv, with “o“People’s Group” announces his release afterwards the exclusion of Hapoel Jerusalem in the semi-finals of the cup and the reactions of the people who followed.
Maccabi is now looking for a new coach. Reports from Israel place former Panathinaikos coach and current Hapoel Galil Gilboa GM Odent Katas as the first favorite to take the technical lead. According to One.co.il, communication between the two parties has started, with the difference so far lying in the length of the contract.
Moreover, according to the same publication, Maccabi appears to have contacted former Monaco manager Zvezdan Mitrovic.
