Unstoppable Panathinaikos in Women’s EuroCup, made 4/4 in group stage
Another easy night for Panathinaikos, who comfortably defeated Lublin (67-59) on Day 4 of the Women’s EuroCup to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
Panathinaikos won the group stage of the Women’s EuroCup on Wednesday evening (11/16) with 4/4 when they beat Lublin 67:59 in the indoor stadium of Agios Thomas Amarousios and mathematically qualified for the next round.
The Greens didn’t have Chastity Reed in their squad, but they laid the groundwork early, didn’t concede any rights to their opponents and confidently achieved the positive result in front of an enthusiastic crowd. The Carter – Potter duo was impressive, scoring 43 points of Panathinaikos’ 67 (18/28 shots) while Lublin had Mak – Stanachev in a hopelessly lonely night.
Panathinaikos’ next opponent is Ramat Hasharon on December 6, back at home.
