Moussa, 28, scored Real’s Spanish Civil War victory over Valencia

Bosnian Musa scored a career-high 28 points and led Real Madrid to an 80-73 win over Valencia in Game 9 of the EuroLeague in the Spanish Civil War.

Real Madrid won the Spanish Civil War against Valencia on day 9 of the EuroLeague. Chus Mateo’s team with Moussa as the absolute leader (28 points with 10/13 doubles, 2/5 trebles, 2/2 shots, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals but also 2 errors) overtook Fonteta 80-73 and improved their record to 6-3, dropping the bats to 4-5.

The race

Real paved the way in the first half where they led 31-17 and counted 10/12 two-pointers. Corneli and Moussa each had 10 points in that span.

Valencia ramped up their defensive performance, holding the queen to just 10 points in the second quarter to draw 41-31 after 20 minutes.
