The…needed the suns, but they bent the battling missiles
The Suns fought the Rockets more than expected, they saw Chris Paul sent off for seeming to fall on a referee, but in the end they won 124-121 and achieved the 7 straight wins.
The Suns will go to the All Star Game happy. The NBA Champions… saw it all against the Rockets, lost Chris Paul in the second half (he was sent off because a referee thought the Phoenix star fell on him on purpose) but ended up beating Houston with 124-121. The Rockets had a chance to send the game into overtime, but a three-pointer from Eric Gordon ended up dead.
Devin Booker was the winners’ top scorer with 24 points (but 7/22 shots), DiAndre Eaton added 23 points and Mikal Bridges 17 points.
With the Rockets, Dennis Schroeder had 23 points, Jason Tate had 22 points, and Gordon had 20 points (but with 8/24 shots).
