New injury for Davis, he severely “twisted” his right ankle.
Anthony Davis was unlucky again this year after twisting his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Jazz and leaving with a support.
Anthony Davis was unlucky for the umpteenth time this year (but also in his career). The Lakers star was injured during the game with the Jazz and was left with a sprain, with the Lakers’ initial diagnosis saying he sprained his right ankle.
Davis “twisted” his right ankle very badly about 3 minutes from the end of the 2nd period of the game, leaving the audience – and the commentators – “frozen” in the image of him falling to the ground screaming in pain. At the moment there is no timeline for his return to the floor.
This is Davis’ second serious injury this season after injuring his left knee last December and being out of action for 5 weeks.
