The French got off to a successful start, which allowed them to enter the first timeout with a comfortable 12-point lead. In the second quarter, Srdjan Radulovic’s team recovered and closed the gap – 54:50.
In the third ten-minute period, the difference was only two points – 64:62, but after that, with the guidance of the home crowd, the French team began to widen the lead. The last siren recorded a confident victory for the host – 109:88.
Alina Yagupova became the best in Ukraine. Turkish basketball player “Fenerbahçe” scored 28 points.
