The EWG instructions for fan attendance in ‘Dyo Aorakia’ for the Final Four of the Cup
EWG issued specific instructions to fans intending to attend the Greek Cup Final Four in an announcement to avoid any trouble.
The Greek Cup Final Four is just around the corner as the heart of Greek basketball will be beating at “Dyo Aorakia” for the next three days (18-20/2). Given that the event will be held in the presence of 2,000 fans, the EEC made sure in its announcement to give instructions to those who will have a ticket.
The EEC communication states in detail:
“The Men’s Final 4 Cup institution returns after 18 years. With a view to the semi-finals on Friday February 18th in the new sports hall of Heraklion (“Two Aorakia”), the gates of the stadium will open to the public at 14:30.
When spectators arrive, strict checks are carried out on tickets, ID cards, valid vaccination or illness certificates and physical checks, both outside and before entering the stadium. If a fan does not have a valid proof of vaccination or illness, they will not be allowed to enter the facility. Confirmation of a negative rapid test, PCR or self-test result in adults will not be accepted.
Regarding the entry of underage fans who are not fully vaccinated, for those who are in the 13-17 age group, entry will ONLY be accepted with confirmation of a negative control with PCR test within seventy-two (72) hours or a rapid test permitted within forty-eight (48) hours prior to the race. Persons under the age of 12 who are not fully vaccinated are allowed to participate with a negative self-test taken on the day of the race.
Fans must be at the stadium at least one hour before the start of matches to avoid overcrowding, at the entrance but also during their stay on the pitch, they must wear a protective mask and keep a distance of at least one and a half meters.
The stadium area is filmed by a closed security circuit both inside and outside.”
