Romania: Tondrik Gotcher steals the trophy from Michalis Kakiouzis
Michalis Kakiouzis guided Craiova to the Romanian Cup final for the first time in his history, but failed to do so against Volundari.
Michalis Kakiouzis’ superb course in Craiova at the Romanian Cup was completed in the final of the tournament, with Volundari prevailing (89-75) and celebrating conquest of the cup.
Michalis Kakiouzis’ team tried hard next to the fall in the middle of the third third, but gradually lost strength and paid for the miss from 6:75 (6/33). At the same time, the winners had 74% in two-pointers and Todring Gotcher in a great night.
The former Koroivos and Hephaestus Lemnos player was the best on his team, delivering 18 points (with 2/2 two points, 3/9 three points and 5/8 shots), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals in 29’54’ ‘Participation.
