NBA: Uncontrolled Doncic, cleared the Pelicans by 49 points and gave the Mavericks the win
In a match that saw Luka Doncic unstoppable with 49 points, the Mavericks overcame the Pelicans’ 125-118 hurdle to move up to 35-24 this season.
Luka Doncic gave a show in New Orleans where the Pelicans fell victim to the Slovenian Mavericks star. Thanks to “Luka Magic’s” 49 points, the Mavericks left home victorious, beating the Pelicans 125-118 while going up to 35-24 in the season.
Doncic heads into Cleveland’s All-Star Weekend with a terrific display against New Orleans, and has propelled the Mavericks to fifth place in the West. With the exception of Doncic, who, in addition to 49 points, also collected 15 rebounds with 8 assists, Branson and Kleber also made an excellent showing with 23 and 20 points respectively. In the Pelicans, McCollum excelled with 38 points and 7/10 three-pointers, but he was very alone.
