The Wizards put on a great performance and pulled off a big win in Brooklyn against the Nets, which they won that season 117-103, 27-31.

The Wizards picked up a golden win over the Nets in Brooklyn, winning 117-103 to move forward 27-31 on the season and ranked 11th in the East. The Nets, led by Patti Mills, were surprised by the spirit of the visitors and returned to the negative after just one win.

Brooklyn’s team paid for their poor fourth quarter, which saw the Wizards wreak havoc, and now sits 8th in the East with a 31-28 record. Top scorer for the Nets was Mills with 22 points while Thomas had 20. For the Wizards, Hatsimura was the top scorer with 20 points.
