Meikon: “Diamantidis told me to continue, he’s legendary”

Daryl Makon revealed what Dimitris Diamantidis told him at halftime in his statements to ERT after Panathinaikos defeated Prometheus.

Panathinaikos defeated Prometheus 85-68 and qualified for it Final of the Greek Cup Final Four. Daryl Makon, in his testimony to ERT, referred to Dimitris Diamantidis’ direction at half-time and emphasized that he wants to get back to where the Greens’ general manager has gotten in his career.

Macon’s statements in detail:

For the game: “It’s a nice feeling when you win. We stay together. We keep working hard, trust the coach and the staff, each other and ourselves. I’m looking forward to my team, it’s a great feeling when you win.”

For Prometheus: “I feel like every game is possible. Every opponent wants to make it difficult for us. We are Panathinaikos. They played well in the first half, we adjusted. Sometimes we make it harder than it is.”
