Kyiv-Basket beat Polytechnic-Galicia in a tense duel
On Saturday, December 10, a match was played in the Ukrainian Super League.
Big city “Kyiv Basket” hit “Polytechnics-Galicia” 79:75 in Lutsk in the regular game of the basketball championship of Ukraine.

In the last quarter, Politekhnika-Galicia approached the Kiev team from a minimum distance, but Kiev-Basket regained control of the game and led +9 with two minutes to go. The Lviv team narrowed the lead to four points with 20 seconds left, but could no longer do so.
Anton Musienko was the best player of the game with 17 points, 1 rebound and 5 assists. The most prolific player for Kiev-Basket was Roman Novikov with 21 points. Eduard Fedchuk scored 23 points and Mikhail Gorobchenko 20 points against Polytechnic-Galicia. They shot 5 and 4 three-pointers, respectively.
“Kyiv-Basket” won 7 out of 8 matches in the season and placed first in the standings outside of Kiev. Politehnica-Galicia is in fifth place with 3 wins in 7 games.

The Serb is expected to miss all 18 matches in January and his maximum appearances this season could be limited to 64 matches.
