Doncic enchanted the thunder
With Luka Doncic having 38 points and hitting a triple-double, the Mavericks defeated the Thunder of the terrible Cy Gilgeous-Alexander, who stopped at 42 points, 121-114.
Luka Doncic returned after one game, and together the smiles and wins returned for the Mavericks, who defeated the struggling Thunder 121-114.
The Slovenia star was unstoppable, finishing the game with 38 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists, and leading his team by hand, with the Mavericks running away from the score starting in the 2nd period, rising to +16 and staying on the ball at Donners counter in the final.
Spencer Dinwiddie and Tim Hardaway followed Doncic in scoring, with Reggie Bullock adding 12 points on a night as Dallas went 22-of-54 from 3-point range.
For the Thunder, Cy Gilgeous-Alexander was great with 42 points, Jaylen Williams added 17 points and Josh Giddy 14 points. Alexei Pokusevsky started in the starting XI but had a poor night with 0/3 shots, 9 rebounds and 2 assists in 22 minutes of action.
