The promoted Nets also overtook Washington with relative ease, winning 112-100 over the Wizards with Kevin Durant stopping at 30 points. Porzing is left uncomfortably in the middle.

The Nets scored another professional win and continued their steady – and quiet – rise with a 100-112 win over the disappointing Wizards in Washington.

Kevin Durant led in Brooklyn with 30 points, Kyrie Irving added 24 points and TJ Warren 12 points, with the New Yorkers holding the lead and even reaching +17.

With the Wizards, Will Burton had 22 points and Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma had 20 points each. However, Porzingis only played 24 minutes before leaving with a groin strain, adding another concern to Washington, who are still awaiting Bradley Beal’s return and coming off a seven-game losing streak.
