According to Italian media, Virtus Bologna is near Polonara
Achille Polonara’s limited playing time at Anadolu Efes seems to have created an opportunity for Virtus Bologna as Italian media reported that the Italian club are close to signing him.
Akile Polonara didn’t find what he expected from Anatolou Efes. Virtus Bologna knows that. And according to a number of Italian publications, the two sides are in advanced contact over the Italian striker’s repatriation.
It was La Repubblica newspaper that started the fire by reporting that Polonara is very close to Sergio Scariolo’s team, with Italian and European media taking the lead.
This season, Polonara has averaged only 2.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 12 minutes of participation in EuroLeague (14 games) and 8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2 assists in 27 minutes of participation in Turkish League (2 games ).
