Spanoulis: “The philosophy we want to pass on starts and transmits to the players”
The work done at Peristeri bwin since the start of the season is starting to show, as Vassilis Spanoulis mentioned after beating Prometheus.
Peristeri bwin put in a dominating performance against Prometheus in game 10 of the Basket League and Vassilis Spanoulis said he was particularly pleased not only with the game in question but also with the mentality his players seem to be developing over time.
“We played a very important game for us. We put in a very good performance and a big win in a game that was everything and everyone for us in Israel and we came here to show that it wasn’t a firefly. We’re working really well, we’re building on that and today I’m very happy.
We did perhaps our best defensive and offensive performance this year. All the guys, whoever plays, no matter how much they play, they really do their best. The philosophy we want to pass on begins and imprints itself on them. We start and after three or four months we become a really good team, both in the dressing room and outside. We must humbly continue the hard work we do and humbly move forward for all that we have created. Congratulations to Prometheus who are a very good team, I wish them all the best.”said the Greek technician at length.
